Who’s invited and who’s pre-qualified:
•The 2014 RMR Winners are invited to defend their titles and are automatically pre-qualified to the finals.
• The winners of the 18-39 year old and the 14-17 year old divisions of the 2015 Rocky Mountain AM Jam will have their entry fees waived.
•Skaters who have consistently ranked in the top fifteen in three or more professional competitions within the past 18 months have special status and are pre-qualified to the semi-finals and will have their entry fee waived.
•GROMS will be receiving their invite from the Sk8-Strong Board.
• Open Vert competitions are open to skaters who are 15 and older and are ready to put their vert skills to the test in a challenge to qualify for the semi-finals where they will meet the Pros.
Elimination Rounds: Five or Six skaters per heat. 5 minute warm-up for each heat, scored introductory run followed by an 8 minute ordered jam, 30 seconds per run, or first fall. Best run counts. Top FIVE skaters will advance to the semi-finals. Semi-finals and Super Finals: Five or Six skaters per heat. 5 minute warm-up for each heat, scored introductory run followed by a 10 minute ordered jam, 30 seconds per run, or first fall. Top two runs are combined for the score, Top 9 scores advance to the super finals.
BBQ BOWL JAM:
The bowl jam is all about having some fun while doing something to support the local community. There will be lots of cash and prizes for best tricks and other fun challenges.

NOTE: Be aware that Colorado Springs is at 6,035 feet in elevation. It is strongly recommended that athletes arrive at least 48 hours prior to the event to acclimate to the altitude, before attempting physical activity.
All registrations for PRO skaters will take place through our Eventbrite site following initial confirmation by email. Waivers must be completed for all athletes.
Proceeds from the BOWL events will be used to benefit the Springs Rescue Mission. Donations of food or cash can be made on-site.
Liability waivers must be signed by ALL competitors (18 years and older) or by the competitor's legal guardian (if under 18). The waiver can be found here.
Airlines serving Colorado Springs (COS) include
United, Delta, and American Airlines. (Alaska Airlines and Allegiant Airlines also have limited service available). Tickets from the Los Angeles area are currently running approximately $300 round trip, but the prices will certainly increase closer to the event.
We will make every effort to ensure the competition takes place despite possible weather-related issues. If for any reason the weather prohibits outdoor competition, it will be resumed the following day.
